This role is central to keeping Avro customers supported after the sale, ensuring equipment uptime, and building long-term customer relationships through reliable field service. The Opportunity We are looking for an Aftersales GSE Technician based in the USA, ideally in Minnesota near Minneapolis or Redwood Falls, to provide hands-on technical support for Avro GSE customers after the sale. This is a field-focused role for a practical technician who can diagnose, repair, commission, and support ground support equipment at customer sites. Day to day, you will travel to customer locations (mainly USA), troubleshoot equipment issues, complete service and warranty work, support commissioning and training, document findings clearly, and coordinate with Avro teams to keep customers moving. Why Join Us Competitive compensation package Three weeks of paid vacation Field-service training and product development support The stability of Saskarc Group combined with the entrepreneurial pace of a specialized GSE business Opportunity to support customers across North America and grow with Avro GSE What You'll Do Provide hands-on field service, commissioning, diagnostics, and repair support for Avro GSE equipment at customer sites Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, diesel, gas, and electric GSE systems Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, warranty service, and equipment repairs Support customer training on safe operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting Document service work, findings, parts used, and corrective actions in accurate service reports Coordinate with parts, engineering, sales, and aftersales teams to resolve equipment-down situations quickly Process warranty evidence, returns (RMAs), and spare-parts identification while onsite or remotely Triage urgent customer issues, prioritize response requirements, and escalate recurring failures Identify service-contract, maintenance-plan, and replacement-cycle opportunities and pass them to the sales team Feed recurring failure patterns and product issues back to the sales, service, and product teams Maintain a professional customer-facing presence during airport, ramp, and shop work Travel up to 80% of the time to customer sites across the USA and other Avro locations as required What You'll Bring Proven hands-on technician experience with mobile equipment, industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, diesel, or GSE Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, parts catalogues, electrical diagrams, and hydraulic schematics Comfortable working independently in the field while managing tools, parts, schedules, and customer expectations Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships with operators, mechanics, and managers Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 80% of the time Strong written communication skills for clear service reports, status updates, and resolution summaries Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced field-service environment Strong safety awareness and respect for airport, ramp, and customer-site procedures A continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to spot and recommend better ways of working Basic computer skills, including service reports, Excel, ERP, CRM, or ticketing systems Ability to support customers by phone or video when not onsite High school diploma or equivalent; technical, trade, aviation, diesel, electrical, or mechanical certification preferred Considered an Asset Familiarity with the aviation or ground support equipment (GSE) industry Familiarity with telematics and remote-diagnostic tools (such as Avro Tracker) and with electric-GSE systems, including LiFePO4 battery packs Knowledge of ramp or airside safety and the airport operating environment

Up to $85,000.00 per year
