All qualified permanent and indefinite Title 32 Nional Guard employees who are currently working for AASF Whiteman Whiteman AFB, Missouri; AASF Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; AAFA in Springfield, Missouri; LAAFA in Jefferson City, Missouri; or the TASMG Shop in Springfield, Missouri. Duties Help Manages, monitors or performs overall maintenance within the CAMP and FAA framework, servicing, inspections and documention for one or more highly technical, high performance UH-72A military aircraft. Performs work in complex conditions under time and/or mission constraints to include all weher and night operions. Trains, coordines, and oversees the work of Non-Airframe and Powerplant (A and P) aircraft mechanics. Provides mentorship for those journey level workers pursuing A and P certificion. Certifies completion of maintenance tasks of non A and P mechanics and certifies the work of journey level workers in other trades working on the assigned aircraft. Certifies aircraft as airworthy before being released for flight. Performs ground checks and assists functional check pilots with in flight functional check procedures. Performs damage assessments and repairs. Participes in mission preparion and recovery operions. Oversees installion of equipment for special missions. Expedites UH-72A aircraft operions to include concurrent servicing, refueling, and/or reconfigurion of equipment for changes in operional missions. Performs preflight, thru flight, and post-flight inspections and scheduled or unscheduled maintenance. Serves as the technical authority to identify and advise on requirements for airframe, mechanical, electrical/environmental, avionics, engine, and pneudraulic repairs on assigned aircraft. Controls and performs work assignments based upon priorities, workload availability of UH-72A parts, facilities, merial and personnel. Observes and inspects work performed by other UH-72A workers work to insure compliance with applicable technical publicions, directives and local policy. Maintains UH-72A aircraft under FAA and manufacturer guidelines and conducts inspections IAW Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance publicions and special inspection criteria. Plans, develops and conducts proficiency training during the technician work week to a multi-faceted workforce comprised of Full Time Support (FTS) and supported unit personnel. Accomplishes operional tests of aircraft systems and components. EXPERIENCE
Must possess experience, educion or training which has provided you with the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts, accessories and components; make adjustments and settings according to established specificions; and use hand tools and test equipment.
WG-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must possess specialized experience which demonstres your ability to certify airworthiness and manage the operional readiness of UH-72A aircraft and proficiency training of supported aviion unit personnel; and provide detailed technical oversight of aircraft level of mission capabilities and operional readiness which govern the maintenance, preventive maintenance, rebuilding and alterion of UH-72A aircraft ensuring aircraft meet airworthiness compliance as stipuled with the UH-72A Continued Airworthiness Maintenance Plan (CAMP). The specialized experience must also demonstre knowledge of theory and operion of the aircraft systems to troubleshoot malfunctions and problems, and determine the extent of repairs and involvement of others in expediting the aircraft returns to airworthy stus; plan the sequence of steps, research technical da, and select necessary tools, repair parts and otherwise carry assignments through to completion, referring unusual and difficult problems to the supervisor; and spot checks work to establish adherence to instructions and standards.
