Aircraft Mechanic II - Avionics

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT MODIFICATION GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Perform Organizational and Intermediate, level maintenance on MV-22 aircraft onboard Marine Corps Air Station DUTIES Perform ACM II Avionics duties Support O/I/D-Level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include documentation, troubleshooting, inspections, corrosion prevention/treatment, servicing, lubricating, adjusting and the removal and replacement of aeronautical components. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of six (4) years of aviation maintenance experience Minimum of four (2) years of T/M/S maintenance experience CDI qualification or ability to obtain qualification required within 6 months of employment Familiar with all publications relevant to the maintenance of the MV-22 appropriate to the assignment and have a thorough practical and theoretical knowledge of the equipment/systems. automated maintenance documentation system within 90 days of employment. Must have the following certifications or qualifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days from employment: Auxiliary Power Unit (APU); Blade Fold Wing Stow (BFWS); Brake Rider; Egress Certified Qualified and/or certified in the following:

Mobile Electric Power Plant (MEPP);

NC-10 A/B/C

Mobile Electric Power Plant (MEPP) MATMEP Level

III / T &R

level 3000 (applicable systems) or greater for MV-22, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Tow Tractor;

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
