Job Description

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT MODIFICATION GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Perform Organizational and Intermediate, level maintenance on MV-22 aircraft onboard Marine Corps Air Station DUTIES Perform ACM II Avionics duties Support O/I/D-Level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include documentation, troubleshooting, inspections, corrosion prevention/treatment, servicing, lubricating, adjusting and the removal and replacement of aeronautical components. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of six (4) years of aviation maintenance experience Minimum of four (2) years of T/M/S maintenance experience CDI qualification or ability to obtain qualification required within 6 months of employment Familiar with all publications relevant to the maintenance of the MV-22 appropriate to the assignment and have a thorough practical and theoretical knowledge of the equipment/systems. Possess a thorough understanding or become familiar and proficient with
NALCOMIS OOMA
automated maintenance documentation system within 90 days of employment. Must have the following certifications or qualifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days from employment: Auxiliary Power Unit (APU); Blade Fold Wing Stow (BFWS); Brake Rider; Egress Certified Qualified and/or certified in the following:
A/M32A-108
Mobile Electric Power Plant (MEPP);
NC-10 A/B/C
Mobile Electric Power Plant (MEPP) MATMEP Level
III / T &R
level 3000 (applicable systems) or greater for MV-22, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Preferred additional qualifications:
Towing;
A/M42-2A
Light Cart;
A/S32A-45
Tow Tractor;
BT-400-46
Pre-Heater (or Equivalent); Flight Line Utility Vehicles. Must be a US Citizen Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear. Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth. May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, etc.
