FAA A&P Mechanic

Job description Total Flight Solutions has an open position to be filled immediately for an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic, who is available for full-time employment to join our team of mechanics. You will receive competitive hourly pay. The position is out of Triangle North Executive Airport (LHZ) located in Louisburg, NC.

Duties :

Aircraft servicing (fuel, oil, cockpits). Scheduled maintenance (50 and 100 hr. inspections). Oil and filter changes. Tire changes, brake servicing. Avionics troubleshooting. Strong piston background is preferred.

Requirements:

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P). General Aviation Experience. Highly motivated, self-directed, and available to work 40 hours a week. Knowledge and skill using online maintenance manuals and looking up parts components. Complete all work order paperwork related to tasks performed with detailed documentation, in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company practices in a timely fashion. Ability to prioritize, work independently, and proceed in an efficient and professional manner. Handle and resolve technical issues and problems. Flexibility to work a varied schedule and holidays if required. Independently make critical decisions regarding aircraft safety. Must be able to perform all maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time. Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements. Looking for experience with the following types of aircraft: Cessna 172's. Robinson R22/R44 (training provided for approved candidates). FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) optional.
