Job Description
Job Overview:
As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician III (AMT III) at ARQ Aviation MX, you will play a crucial role in delivering the highest quality maintenance services for both our fleet and customers' aircraft. Positioned as a mid-level technician, you will apply your expertise and experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex aircraft systems. Working with a focus on precision, safety, and customer satisfaction, you'll ensure every aircraft meets or exceeds FAA standards and ARQ Aviation MX's commitment to excellence.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure comprehension of assigned task(s) before initiating maintenance. If necessary, communicate concerns or questions to the DOM.
- Ensure that manufacturer safety precautions are taken before initiating maintenance.
- Perform all maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, industry standards, and company policies/procedures.
- Perform all maintenance to the highest of quality standards, avoiding any act which may endanger personnel or cause damage to equipment and articles.
- Perform maintenance tasks, including but not limited to inspections, repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, component changes, and preventative maintenance.
- Perform all maintenance using proper tools and equipment applicable to the task.
- Provide continuity of maintenance when work assignment changes occur.
- Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries and logbook entries.
- Notify the DOM immediately of any condition that arises which might represent a problem or unsafe condition.
- Communicate frequently with customers regarding updates and project timelines.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in a safe and orderly condition.
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the maintenance facility.
- Actively participate in the company's Continuous Improvement Program (CIP).
- Ensure that unairworthy articles or work that is below company standards, is not released by ARQ Aviation MX.
- Ensure that work packages are continuously audited and updated.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate. Current FAA Inspection Authorization is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of General Aviation experience. Experience on Cirrus SR2X and Cessna 172 aircraft is highly preferred.
- Must have thorough understanding of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, as well as inspection methods, techniques, and equipment used to determine the quality or airworthiness of articles undergoing maintenance, repair, or alteration.
- Proven track record of consistent performance while delivering high levels of customer service to internal and external customers, as required.
- Demonstrated record of sound ethical judgement and integrity.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and safety in all maintenance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to professionally communicate with customers.
- Possess adequate tools.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
