Job Description:
Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or an equivalent 2 year + of consistent mechanical maintenance experience Role and Responsibilities Disassemble landing gear using various manual tools Identify and tag parts Clean and blast parts using chemical cleaners, power washer and various media such as walnut shell, plastic, and baking soda Read and interpret component maintenance manuals (CMM's) Document work performed Communicate and work with other departments Maintain an organized work space Skills and Abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Multi-limb coordination Mechanical Aptitude Basic proficiency in computer literacy Basic blueprint reading Proficient in the English language; writing, reading and speaking Stand for extended periods of time Writing/reading comprehension Ability to recognize current or future problems Bend, twist, stretch or reach with body, arms and/or legs Manual dexterity Arm-hand steadiness Near vision
Other Position Requirements:
Flexibility to work any shift as necessary when operational objectives require it This position is safety sensitive and is subject to DOT drug and alcohol regulations Successful completion of a comprehensive background check
