Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented A&P Mechanic to become a key contributor to our aircraft maintenance team. This position focuses on the upkeep and airworthiness of corporate jet and turboprop aircraft, requiring a professional who can independently manage maintenance tasks while adhering to FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and internal company standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise, a commitment to safety, and the technical know-how to keep high-performance aircraft operating at peak condition.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and overhaul aircraft, their systems, and associated components while following all approved maintenance procedures and regulatory frameworks Take full ownership of completed work through thorough and accurate documentation, proper sign-offs, and personal accountability Interpret and apply technical resources including blueprints, wiring schematics, engineering drawings, and manufacturer maintenance manuals Carry out scheduled and unscheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on assigned aircraft Perform cosmetic touch-up painting within the designated work area as operational needs arise Contribute to experimental and developmental projects when called upon Uphold all applicable FAA regulations, OEM requirements, and company-specific policies throughout every task Keep your workspace consistently clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Maintain a personal tool inventory that meets company shadowing and accountability guidelines
Requirements:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required Minimum 5 years of current aircraft maintenance experience 8+ years of total aircraft experience preferred Recent hands-on experience with corporate jets and/or turboprop aircraft , such as: Citation King Air Challenger Beechcraft Pilatus Learjet Must provide own tools High school diploma or equivalent required Strong understanding of maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
PAY & SCHEDULE
Hourly based off of experience. Per diem split to those that qualify Monday-Friday 5/8s Day shift 6 months-contract-to-hire (Long term)
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
