A&P IA Mechanic
Job Description:
A&P IA Mechanic - LASAR and Mooney Join Forces and we need you. Our Mooney Service Center is looking for the right Mechanics to join our team. As an authorized repair center for Mooney and other Piston Engine Aircraft, we pride ourselves on maintaining a family-focused shop. Weekends and late nights are the exception rather than the rule. We don't relax our standards A&P IA Mechanics play a key role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of customers' aircraft. You will troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance tasks while working closely with our Chief Inspector.
This includes:
Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and maintain aircraft. Document work per manuals and regulatory requirements. safety and Environmental Health & Safety policies. Compliance with FAA regulations Participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean workspace. Perform mechanical/electrical component removals and installations. Provide off-site maintenance support when needed. Assist with fueling, engine removal/installation, and component repairs
Job Requirements:
5+ years of experience with aircraft. FAA Airframe and Powerplant License Must have a valid Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent Legal right to work in the United States Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for aircraft status reporting. Problem-solving and organization skills Experience in entering and accessing technical data within computer systems Exercise good judgment in working in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety. Work independently on projects when required.
