Full-Time About Intercept Aviation Intercept Aviation is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence. We support a diverse fleet with a team of skilled aviation professionals who take pride in keeping aircraft airworthy and mission-ready. Position Overview We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Aircraft Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on airframes, engines, and aircraft systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics faults and determine corrective actions Complete required maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with FAA regulations Inspect and test repaired or overhauled components to verify airworthiness Coordinate with inspection personnel, crew chiefs, and other team members to meet operational deadlines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards Ensure proper use and accountability of tools, equipment, and consumables Qualifications FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required Minimum 2 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience Strong knowledge of FAA regulations (14 CFR Parts 43, 65, 91, and/or 145 as applicable) Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical publications Proficiency with standard aviation hand tools and test equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred but not required Experience with Diamond Aircraft Familiarity with maintenance tracking software such as EBIS Prior MRO or Part 145 repair station experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces Comfortable working at heights, in varying weather conditions, and on rotating shifts as needed What We Offer Competitive pay commensurate with experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for training, certification, and career advancement A safety-first culture with a supportive team environment Intercept Aviation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
