Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Aviation Line Service Technician and become a vital part of the aviation industry's frontline! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely servicing of aircraft on the ramp. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction while supporting the seamless operation of airport ground services. Duties Perform aircraft marshalling, towing, and parking to ensure precise positioning and safe movement on the ramp Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and airline standards Assist with aircraft fueling, de-icing, and cleaning procedures to prepare aircraft for departure Manage logistics related to baggage handling, cargo loading, and passenger boarding support Supervise and coordinate ground service teams, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely Operate various ground support equipment including tugs, belt loaders, and manual transmission vehicles with precision Communicate effectively with pilots, ground crew, and management using clear language in multiple languages including English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, or others as needed Skills Proven management and supervising experience within aviation or logistics environments Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic in aviation maintenance Multilingual communication skills in English plus additional languages such as Korean, Chinese, or Japanese to serve diverse clients and team members Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) related to ground operations and aircraft servicing standards Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining organizational skills during busy shifts Experience operating manual transmission vehicles and commercial driving licenses preferred Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting while adhering to safety protocols Background in military service or maintenance management is considered a plus for leadership roles within the team This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for aviation who thrive on teamwork, safety compliance, and operational excellence.
