Job Description

VP Aviation is hiring experienced Aircraft Structures Mechanics to support F-16 production programs in Greenville, SC. F-16 experience is NOT required. We are seeking experienced aircraft structures mechanics with recent aircraft sheet metal, structural assembly, or aircraft production experience. Candidates from commercial, business aviation, military, MRO, manufacturing, and modification environments are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and fastener layouts Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair aircraft structural assemblies and sub-assemblies Perform precision drilling and reaming operations Install rivets, fasteners, and structural hardware Perform countersinking and part trimming Fit, align, and assemble aircraft structural components Support hands-on production build-up of aircraft fuselage assemblies Use precision measuring equipment to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain workmanship standards while meeting production requirements Skills and Experience We're Looking For 3+ years of recent aircraft sheet metal or aircraft structures experience required Strong experience with precision drilling and reaming Experience installing rivets, fasteners, and structural hardware Experience with countersinking and structural assembly work Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Aircraft production, modification, manufacturing, or repair experience preferred Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Must be able to pass background check and onboarding requirements Schedule Training will be conducted on first shift before assignment to a regular shift. 1st Shift Monday
  • Thursday 6:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM 2nd Shift Monday
  • Thursday 4:30 PM
  • 3:00 AM Possible Weekend Shift Thursday
  • Sunday 6:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM Candidates must be flexible to work any assigned shift. Pay Weekly pay ranges from $1,360
  • $1,520 at 40 hours, not including overtime Overtime may be available.
