As a Composite Airframe Assembly Mechanic, you'll turn detailed engineering drawings into precision-built structures, ensuring every fastener, seal, and system meets exacting standards. This is a 100% onsite position on a variable shift. A day in the life You start your shift by reviewing electronic work instructions and composite layup/structure drawings for your job assignment. You identify exact work locations on the aircraft or tooling, gather the right parts, fixtures, and hand tools, and don the required PPE. Throughout the day, you operate lifts to reach work areas, torque fasteners with power screwdrivers and ratchets, apply primers, sealants, and special finishes, and verify your work quality while preventing Foreign Object Debris (FOD). Safety and quality guide every move you make. What you'll handle Embed safety in every task, following all procedures with zero compromise. Deliver high-quality, compliant work that meets regulatory and company standards. Complete foundational new-hire training and obtain/maintain required certifications. Use a computer confidently in a fast-paced production setting. Interpret and execute electronic work instructions, drawings, and specifications. Wear appropriate PPE and follow chemical handling guidelines. Operate mechanical access equipment (e.g., ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts). Use hand tools and diagnostic gear, including screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdriver, multimeters, and continuity testers. Apply chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes. Inspect your work and perform thorough FOD checks. Work near energized sources (e.g., circuit breakers and wiring) and in constant-noise environments. Physical and environmental demands Finger manipulation (keyboarding and other fine-motor tasks). Lifting and carrying up to 10-35 pounds. Climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting). Flexion/Extension (head bent down/back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist, and walking. Location and schedule

Aerospace Technician and Mechanic Aptitude Virtual Job Tryout :
To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration. Basic qualifications Ability to work variable shifts (first, second, or third) based on business needs. Ability to complete and maintain Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications, if required. 1+ year using software such as internet navigation, email, Microsoft Office Suite, and/or other specialized applications. 1+ year following detailed work instructions and reading/interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications; successful completion of training and knowledge assessments involving mathematical calculations, all conducted in English. 1+ year in a manufacturing, technical, or mechanical field (including equivalent military experience) using basic hand, power, and/or pneumatic (air) tools.
