Full-time; Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., plus every other weekend (with Monday and Tuesday off following weekend shifts)Pay:
Starting at $18/hour About Us Riggin Flight Service is a leading aviation training center dedicated to preparing the next generation of pilots. In addition to flight training, the organization supports testing operations through a nationwide testing provider, making our facility a busy and dynamic place to work. About The Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support daily operations in a busy aviation shop. This is a hands-on role that includes shop upkeep, assisting with aircraft maintenance, and supporting general operations around the hangar. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in keeping a clean and organized workspace, and is eager to learn alongside an experienced mechanic. What You'll Do Shop & Facility Support Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Take out garbage and assist with general shop upkeep Organize tools, parts, and work areas Aircraft Support Assist mechanic with basic aircraft maintenance tasks (e.g., oil changes, spark plugs, tire repair) Help move, position, and secure (tie down) aircraft Wash and detail airplanes General Support Run errands as needed Assist with day-to-day operational needs of the shop What You'll Bring Must be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a background check. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Willingness to learn and assist in a hands-on environment Mechanical aptitude preferred (automotive or similar experience is a plus) Ability to follow directions and work as part of a small team Ability to lift, move, and work on your feet throughout the day What We Offer Time off and meaningful aviation-related perks, including flight training discounts.
