Job Description:
Helicopter A&P Mechanic Step into a direct hire helicopter A&P role with competitive 40 to 50/hr pay, relocation assistance, a clean climate controlled facility, and strong long term benefits. This is a hands on opportunity with a rapidly growing helicopter services company supporting complex rotorcraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, modifications, and return to service work in an FAA Part 145 environment. This position is ideal for an experienced A&P mechanic who wants steady helicopter work, a professional shop environment, and the opportunity to support a wide range of aircraft platforms and missionized configurations. Position Highlights Direct hire opportunity Pay rate: 40.00 to 50.00 per hour Relocation assistance available Clean, climate controlled working environment Rapidly growing helicopter services company FAA Part 145 repair station environment Hands on rotorcraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, modifications, and return to service work Healthcare benefits with a company paid portion 401k 2 weeks PTO 11 paid holidays Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopter platforms Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and return aircraft to service in accordance with FAA, repair station, and company standards Use test equipment for track and balance procedures knowledge of rotor system tracking and balancing to perform adjustments Interpret and apply Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins Use precision measuring instruments, including dial calipers, micrometers, tensiometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes Troubleshoot and adjust engine parameters, including oil pressure, Ng, temperature indication, and topping settings Perform diagnostic testing to identify hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, technical data, and repair documentation Use common hand tools, power tools, and torque equipment to perform aircraft maintenance and repairs Collaborate with other mechanics, technicians, and maintenance leadership to complete repairs and ensure aircraft are operating properly Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts usage, and work performed in accordance with repair station requirements Complete assigned work within required timeframes and quality standards
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Current Airframe and Powerplant license 3 or more years of helicopter maintenance experience At least 2 years of experience on applicable helicopter platforms Strong working knowledge of aircraft systems, mechanics, components, and parts Experience performing aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs Familiarity with aviation maintenance manuals, blueprints, technical data, and repair documentation Ability to use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments Working knowledge of blueprint reading, geometry, and basic trigonometry Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to make consistent and precise repairs in a fast paced maintenance environment Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform hands on aircraft maintenance work Preferred Qualifications Inspection Authorization license OEM school training within the past 4 years Experience working on commercial and military helicopters Experience in an FAA Part 145 repair station Leadership experience in a supervisory or management role Rotorcraft Experience Needed Candidates should have experience on one or more of the following helicopter manufacturers and models: Supported Manufacturers Bell Airbus Leonardo / Agusta MD Helicopters Sikorsky Supported Models
