Job Description:

SkyBridge Aviation is hiring avionics technicians and aircraft electricians in Central Texas.

Job Duties:

Installing aircraft avionics, test instrumentation, electronic equipment, and related components. Fabricating and installing aircraft wiring harnesses to include data, power, ground wires and associated pins, connectors, backs shells, cannon plugs, etc. Repairing and maintaining a variety of electrical equipment including aircraft, group support and instrumentation equipment. Collaborating with engineers to inform the design of electrical components and systems. Troubleshooting malfunctions, diagnosing problems and proposing repair/remediation strategies. Maintaining Quality Control documents to include shop orders, logbooks and Defective Material Reports (DMRs). Providing data for contracting records including parts utilized, time expended, and type of work performed, charge line number etc

Qualifications:

8+ years' of related experience involving fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair including installing wire harness, avionics systems, etc. in the government and commercial aviation industry. Must be able to operate the following types of equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering iron, terminal crimpers, pin and socket insertion tools, and other instruments necessary in the testing and repair of electrical and avionics equipment.
