MILITARY REQUIREMENTS

E-6/SSG Other requirements: For positions requiring the operion of motor vehicles, candides must have a valid ste driver's license for the ste in which they live or are principally employed. For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within One (1) year of appointment. This position is loced in the Logistics function of an ARNG Army Aviion Support Facility (AASF). This is an Army Nional Guard (ARNG) Dual Stus Technician position requiring military membership, compible military skill assignment, and classificion. The purpose of this position is to act as an aircraft mechanic with responsibility for certifying airworthiness and managing the operional readiness of one or more aircraft, and proficiency training of supported aviion unit personnel. Responsibilities include detailed technical oversight of individual aircraft's level of mission capabilities and operional readiness IAW Federal Aviion Administrion (FAA), Code of Federal Regulion (CFR) title 14 Part 43 rules governing the maintenance, preventive maintenance, rebuilding and alterion of aircraft having a U.S. airworthiness certifice as well as guidelines and projection of maintenance requirements per the UH-72A Program Office to maintain individual aircraft operional readiness, ensuring aircraft meet airworthiness compliance as stipuled within the Army's UH-72A Continued Airworthiness Maintenance Plan (CAMP).Duties:
Manages, monitors or performs overall maintenance within the CAMP and FAA framework, servicing, inspections and documention for one or more highly technical, high performance UH-72A military aircraft. Requests maintenance services exceeding AASF capabilities or time constraints. Controls and performs work assignments based upon priorities, workload availability of UH-72A parts, facilities, merial and personnel. Maintains UH-72A aircraft under FAA and manufacturer guidelines and conducts inspections IAW Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance publicions and special inspection criteria as outlines in FAA, OEM and Army maintenance and safety messages. Performs other duties as assigned.Note:

GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Experience or training th has provided the candide with the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts, accessories, and components, and to make adjustments and settings according to established specificions. Must be skilled in the use of hand tools and test equipment.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
In addition to journey-level experience or training equivalent to or exceeding the WG-10 or WU-10 grade level, positions this grade level may include performing duties as a dediced crew chief. Other positions may include responsibility for performing, coordining, and/or overseeing the work and any periodic inspections to be done on an aircraft whether it is alone, or with the assistance of other mechanics and/or workers. Some positions may include coordining the work of other journey-level workers in other trades to work simultaneously on the aircraft.
