Technician 4 Job Description What You Will Be Doing We are currently seeking a dedicated Aircraft technician to join our dynamic team, focusing on the F-22 aircraft. This position is located out of Langley Air Force Base, VA. This pivotal role involves a broad spectrum of responsibilities. Some of the job requirements & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Service, repairs, and overhauls F-22 aircraft electrical systems to ensure airworthiness.
  • Repair, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems. Incorporate engineering changes.
  • Replaces and repairs worn or damaged components.
  • Adjust, repairs, and replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories
  • Read and interpret F-22 engineering drawings, technical manuals, electrical systems, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes
  • Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders.
  • Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationship of circuits.
  • Perform such tasks as making circuit analyzes, and tracing relationships in signal flow.
  • Use complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices, may provide technical guidance.
  • During periods of non electrical work, application of Low Observable material/SAS maintenance, or other TCTO's is required or such as directed.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.

The selected candidate must possess an Interim Secret clearance to start with the ability to obtain a Final Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
This may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations. This position regularly requires to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry. Position may also require extended work hours. Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Select the Telework classification for this position Employee will work on-site full-time Shift Multiple shifts available Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
