Job Description
SUMMARY:
Phoenix Defense is seeking applicants for Electronic Technician Maintenance II positions at Ft. Eustis, VA. This position is in support of the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program (W-TRS).ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute proficient troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of aircraft training devices Uphold documentation standards, ensuring complete and updated aircraft maintenance records Demonstrate leadership by guiding teams through complex, aircraft-related tasks Effectively prioritize workload, ensuring organized and timely completion of assigned projects Maintaining and repairing various aircraft training device components Understanding and applying information from manuals, service bulletins, and technical data Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety regulations Perform periodic inspections on devices as determined by the OEM and local policy Perform miscellaneous duties to service and maintain aircraft training device appearance Create, update and close maintenance records of the work performedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience in aircraft training device maintenance High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency with specialized testing equipment Intermediate knowledge of aircraft training devices, components, and maintenance procedures Experience in connector repair and electrical troubleshooting Advanced mechanical aptitude with hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipmentPREFERRED SKILLS
In-depth knowledge of aircraft training systems component troubleshooting and repair A foundational understanding of electrical theory Extensive familiarity with specialized tools, including but not limited to, test equipment, torque wrenches, and dial indicators Ability to work independently and as part of a team Obtain/maintain a valid state driver's license and installation driving privileges Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
