Full Job Description About:

FLYIT Academy was founded in August of 2019. We are a young flight school with a full maintenance department. Our provided services include flight instruction, airplane rentals, and maintenance. We are an ever-growing business with a friendly, supportive community of aviation enthusiasts.

The Maintenance Department:

Our maintenance department is rapidly growing. It supports the maintenance and upkeep of our flight school fleet, as well as provides services to locals at Grove Field and surrounding areas.

The Position:

We are looking for individuals who have experience as an IA and/or as a lead A&P mechanic, as well as experienced A&Ps. Our company offers the chance to grow into new and exciting fields in aviation, as well as a professional, pleasant community between co-workers and supervisors. Who are we looking for?: The maintenance department is the backbone of the upkeep of our flight school fleet. Because of this, we expect our mechanics to be self-motivated, punctual, detail-oriented, continually growing, and have good character. Not only will you be working with the flight school's aircraft, but you will also be working on customers' planes and seeing people around the community at Grove Field daily. With your knowledge and experience, you will have a team under you that will need your support. Leadership experience is a must. This is a professional environment where we treat each other and the community around us with respect.

Additional Information:

We are looking for more experienced mechanics with past leadership experience. Pay will be dependant on how much experience you have, as well as your certification.
