LOCATION:
Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA
PAY RATE:
$47.78/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
Assemble, disassemble, or modify aerospace vehicle systems and components to correct failures or implement changes. Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes. Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components. Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components. Document procedures, repairs, test results, and inspections for contractual and regulatory compliance. Inspect components and verify repairs meet flight-worthiness standards. Provide training and guidance to less experienced personnel. Work under general supervision and follow established processes. Maintain qualification/certification and pass Ground Operations Personnel (GOP) and air respirator medical physicals.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance (interim or final post-start). U.S. Citizenship required High School diploma/GED plus 4+ years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (vocational school/Associate + 2 years, or Bachelors degree). Minimum 3 years experience working at heights using fall protection equipment (weight limit 225 lb). 3+ years experience reading, understanding, and interpreting basic engineering drawings and technical specifications. 3+ years experience identifying hazardous working conditions and ensuring workplace safety. 3+ years experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with live aircraft operations, including pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and propulsion systems. Minimum 3 years' C-17 platform experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret C-17 blueprints and USAF Technical Orders. Multi-system operations, maintenance, and repair experience. Ability to work safely within complex schedules and establish procedures for high-quality, productive work.
