AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC

- T32, WG-6652-11, you will troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, test and adjust aircraft ordnance systems, equipment and components. On and/or off-equipment inspection, modificion, overhaul, troubleshooting and repair capability of weapons release and gun systems; verifies and analyzes malfunctions, troubleshoots, tests, inspects and loads/unloads conventional munitions; installs/removes weapons delivery equipment, launchers and gun systems. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS

: Compible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective de of placement . This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the employing ste's Nional Guard. Conditions of Employment:

Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigion. May be required to successfully complete a probionary period. GENERAL EXPERIENCE

: Experience or training which demonstres the applicant's ability to repair malfunctions of ordnance equipment and components. Ability to use sketches, electrical diagrams, technical specificions, and engineering drawings. Experience which demonstres skill in the use of test equipment to make electrical, hydraulic, and pneumic checks.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

: To qualify for the

level, level you must have least 18 months experience or training in planning and layout of repair sequence and ability to complete modificion, repair, and installion of ordnance systems. Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions and determining remedies where complex relionships exist. Experience in hand tools and the use of a variety of measuring and test equipment. Experience in interpreting technical directions, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's specificions.
