AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS

MECHANIC-Title 32, WG-8268-10, you will advise on aircraft fuel systems removal, repair, and installion maintenance procedures and policies. Diagnose fuel system and component malfunctions. Recommend corrective actions and resolve problems using technical publicions and analytic techniques. Perform maintenance on aircraft fuel tanks and cells. Remove access panels, and depuddle, purge, repair, and test fuel tanks and cells. Perform entry and maintenance in confined spaces . Remove, repair, and replace malfunctioning components. Prepare aircraft surfaces, and apply sealants, adhesives, and associed chemicals. Inspect, and evalue aircraft fuel systems maintenance activities. Clean fuel cells and tanks, and inspect for foreign objects, corrosion, cell deteriorion, and fungus. Store, handle, use, and dispose of hazardous merial and waste. Initie deficiency reports, maintenance analysis documents, technical da changes, and equipment records. Record informion on da collection forms and automed systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

: To qualify for the

WG-8268-10

level, you must have least 18 months experience or training which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles. Experience in internal hardware such as valves, interconnects, lines, gauges, controls, pumps, and other tachments; sealing merials; sheet metal parts; rubber properties and organic sealing compound applicions; layout drawing use; technical publicions; concepts and applicions of maintenance directives; work policies and procedures; and proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and merial. Experience in functions such as installing, repairing, or modifying aircraft fuel systems and reled components.
