Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to be physically active including, but not limited to, climbing ladders, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time. Able to squat, kneel, bend, crawl and climb - access attic and crawl spaces as needed. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to operate hand and power tools preferred. Basic networking knowledge preferred. Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls. A valid State of Alaska driver's license, without restrictions, is required. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to pass a background check, which includes an employment history and criminal history check with no felony convictions, no DUI/OUI's, no assault, theft, etc. Summary As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various security systems, including CCTV and fire alarms. Reporting to the Field Services Manager, your role is vital in ensuring the safety and security of our clients. You will utilize your core skills in low voltage electrical work and cabling, while your premium skills in computer networking and system design will enhance our service offerings.
