Shop Technician Fire Protection

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fire Extinguisher Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining fire extinguishers to ensure they meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help protect lives and property by ensuring all fire safety equipment is fully operational and compliant. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and testing of fire extinguishers. Warehouse duties including inventory control. Receiving orders from UPS & FeDex Maintain warehouse in a clear & orderly manner. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and compliance documentation. Assist in sales activities related to fire extinguisher sales by providing technical knowledge and customer support. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in fire protection or related construction fields with familiarity in fire sprinkler fitting and system design. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction inspection techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and support alarm system sales efforts. Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
