Fire Protection Inspector and Technician Prescott, AZ 86301 $25

Full-time Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and well-rounded Fire Protection Inspector and Technician to join our growing team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of fire protection systems. Our office is located in Prescott, however the person we are seeking can be based in the Phoenix or Prescott areas as we have clients in both territories, as well as the Verde Valley.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspections and maintenance of fire suppression systems (includes wet/dry sprinkler, kitchen suppression, paint booth, etc.), fire alarm systems and backflow devices. Troubleshoot and repair fire suppression, alarm systems and backflows. Conduct regular maintenance tasks as per schedule (Annual/Semi-Annual/Quarterly) Collaborate effectively with team members. Adhere to safe driving practices.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in the fire protection industry•
KITCHEN SUPPRESSION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
! Must be able to perform job in the field upon start date with no additional training, other than learning our internal reporting processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • company vehicle will be provided Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights Willingness to travel in-state
  • some out of town multi-night stays are required CSA or Nicet certifications are a plus
Qualifications:
Understanding of fire protection principles and system types Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems Strong knowledge of backflow devices Additional certifications related to fire protection (Preferred but not required) This job is ideal for someone who is: Dependable and adaptable/flexible Detail-oriented and achievement-oriented Innovative and willing to learn Capable of traveling to multiple job sites daily, as well as traveling out of town Physically capable of climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, etc. Proficient in using a computer Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Can work both independently and with others
