About This Job As a Fire Alarm Project Foreman , you will be responsible for working with the Project Manager to oversee the design and installation of fire safety systems at new build construction sites. You will assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of fire alarm system projects, from start to finish. You will help coordinate teams, ensure code compliance, and maintain communication with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Compensation $30•$40 hourly wage, based on experience and certifications Monthly mobile phone reimbursement Company-provided vehicle, or private vehicle allowance (upon corporate review) Corporate fuel card Signing bonus for qualified candidates What You Will Do Manage fire safety system installation at construction sites Coordinate with engineers, field technicians, contractors, and clients Define scope, schedule, and resources for designated projects Review blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to ensure system designs and installations meet applicable codes Manage project schedules, procurement plans, and resource allocation Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work progress, compliance, and quality Ensure all required permits, inspections, and testing are scheduled and completed successfully Promote and enforce safety standards at job sites Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Organization Attention to detail Communication Safety and awareness BlueBeam Material management / forecasting / cost control Project scheduling Personnel planning Labor forecasting Clean agent fire suppression systems Aspirating Smoke Detection / VESDA systems Requirements and Qualifications >5 years experience working on installation of fire alarm systems. Will accept parallel work in the electrical industry if a focus on low voltage systems. Preferable but not required, has experience working with VESDA. >2 years experience leading an installation team/crew with a focus on: Planning and tracking field activities and manpower needs Planning and tracking material needs & usage Coordinating field activities with other trades Coordinating energization and commissioning activities High Focus on Safety and leading Safety meetings/discussions Advanced to expert troubleshooting experience. OSHA 10 certification minimum; OSHA 30 preferred. Willing to obtain OSHA 30 within 90 days of employment. Current
NICET II
certification preferred; but able to obtain within 180 days of employment. CSA certification will be acceptable. Experienced with Microsoft Sharepoint Experienced with BlueBeam Work Environment and Demands This job takes place primarily at new build construction sites. The noise level is typically moderate to loud. As with any construction site, you may be exposed to heat, cold, dust, precipitation, and other conditions.
