Low Voltage Apprentice/Lead

$20.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Description:

Southern California West Coast Electric, Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated Low Voltage Apprentice/Lead to support ongoing commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of field experience in low voltage systems and be comfortable working on active construction sites. This position will assist with the installation, pulling, terminating, and testing of structured cabling, as well as the installation of devices and systems such as cameras, access control, fire alarm, security/intrusion systems, and AV systems. We are looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, able to follow direction, and interested in growing with the company. Lead-level candidates should be able to work independently, assist with jobsite coordination, and provide guidance to helpers or apprentices when needed.

Qualifications:

1-4 years of low voltage field experience preferred Basic knowledge of structured cabling and low voltage systems Experience with cameras, access control, fire alarm, security/intrusion, or AV systems preferred Must be comfortable working on active construction sites Basic hand tools preferred Clean driving record preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team
