  • Full-time Job Overview R&S Erection of Monterey Bay is seeking a motivated and skilled Automated Gate Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated gate systems and related security infrastructure. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will help us uphold the highest standards of safety and security. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and service on automated gates, entry systems and related electronics. Install and troubleshoot automated gate systems, including motorized operators, and access control devices Perform routine maintenance and inspections on gate hardware Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to perform installation and repairs Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems including wiring Provide field service support, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise. Maintain company truck and inventory Use iPhone to record job data and communicate with the office
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of automated gate industry experience Clean, professional appearance with strong customer service skills Flexible, reliable, and a team player Fluent English speaker Ability to lift 75 lbs safely Valid driver's license with 3+ years clean driving record Comfortable using iPad for job data Must pass background check and drug test
