Full-Time Position Overview WyreDreams is seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Technician to oversee and execute residential and commercial technology installations. This individual will be responsible for leading projects in the field, managing technicians, coordinating with clients and project managers, and ensuring installations are completed to WyreDreams standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with structured cabling, networking, security, access control, and AV systems and can independently manage projects from rough-in through final completion. Responsibilities Lead and manage residential and commercial low-voltage installation projects Supervise and direct technicians and subcontractors on job sites Install, terminate, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems Install and commission network infrastructure, wireless access points, security cameras, access control systems, and AV equipment Read and interpret plans, elevations, and system documentation Coordinate project activities with clients, builders, and other trades Maintain project schedules and communicate progress to management Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and industry best practices Train and mentor junior technicians Perform system testing, verification, and final walkthroughs Maintain accurate job documentation and reporting Provide professional client communication and onsite leadership throughout the project lifecycle Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of experience in low-voltage installation and system integration Proven experience leading residential and commercial projects Strong knowledge of: Structured cabling systems Networking and Wi-Fi infrastructure Security camera systems Access control systems Audio/Video systems Ability to troubleshoot installation and system issues independently Experience managing crews and coordinating project workflow Ability to work from construction drawings and technical documentation Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and in construction environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with Ubiquiti/UniFi networking and Wi-Fi systems Experience with Sonos audio systems, including installation and setup Experience installing and supporting Sonance speakers and audio solutions Experience with Crestron Home systems, including device installation and system support Familiarity with access control, surveillance, and integrated smart home technologies Experience with residential smart home and commercial technology projects Manufacturer certifications or industry certifications are a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid training and certification opportunities Advancement opportunities within a growing company Why Join WyreDreams?
