NICET Level II Fire Alarm Technician 3D Technology Services, Inc. - 4.7 Rancho Cordova, CA Job Details $26 - $38 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Paid holidays Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Electrical work Regulatory compliance Fire codes and regulations Driver's License Fire alarm system installation Full Job Description We are seeking a NICET Level II Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, and troubleshoot fire alarm and life safety systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, strong knowledge of NFPA codes, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. Key Responsibilities Install, program, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems Perform routine inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA 72 standards Diagnose system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Complete and maintain accurate service reports and documentation Ensure systems meet code compliance and AHJ requirements Provide technical support and training to junior technicians Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory Required Qualifications NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (required) Minimum 2+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience Working knowledge of: NFPA 72 (Fire Alarm Code) Basic electrical systems and wiring Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Experience with major fire alarm systems (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Notifier, Simplex) State or local fire alarm licenses (if applicable) OSHA safety training Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods Why Join Us?
