WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

If you know your way around a camera system, can terminate a panel cleanly, and take pride in installs that are done right — not just done — we want to meet you. Calidad Services is a growing California-based security and technology company. We're building our field install team with technicians who are sharp, reliable, and want a place where their work actually matters. This position starts part-time and project-based, with a clear path to full-time as workload grows. Strong techs don't stay part-time here long.

PAY & COMPENSATION

Base rate: $27-$35/hr depending on experience and skill level.

Prevailing wage projects:

When qualifying public works or prevailing wage jobs come through, your rate reflects it — some techs have earned $75+/hr on these projects. We work on them regularly and our techs benefit directly.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Installing CCTV, access control, and integrated low-voltage systems on commercial and construction sites Running and dressing cable; performing panel terminations and head-end rack builds to a clean standard Reading and working from blueprints, schematics, and project scope documents Configuring and testing VMS platforms (Hanwha, Avigilon, or similar) Supporting or directing Level 1 techs on larger installs Documenting your work and flagging issues early — no surprises at closeout

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

3+ years of hands-on low-voltage installation experience with real field time in at least two of the following: CCTV / Security Cameras — IP and analog systems, VMS configuration, camera placement Access Control — reader installation, panel wiring, credential programming Structured Cabling — Cat5e/Cat6 runs, terminations, labeling, cable management Head-End / Rack Builds — NVR/DVR mounting, patch panels, clean rack layout Alarm Systems — panel installation, zone wiring, sensor placement (a plus) Comfortable with multimeter, toner/probe, punch-down tools, and hand tools Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and scope documentation Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work on active construction sites and lift equipment as required
