Duties Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards Assemble, connect, and secure piping systems using various fittings and tools Test sprinkler systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes Troubleshoot and repair existing sprinkler systems to maintain optimal functionality Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to meet project deadlines Conduct inspections to verify system integrity and identify potential issues early Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes Experience Proven experience as a sprinkler fitter or in a related plumbing or pipefitting role Knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and safety regulations (such as NFPA standards) Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for pipe installation Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively on-site Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites as needed Embark on a career that makes a difference!
