Lead Security/ Fire Alarm Technician (35 - 60 minute commute. 2 years exp.)

Reliant Fire and Security is a locally owned security company servicing the glades communities. We are looking for individuals that would like to join our company and make a lifetime career choice. The ideal candidate for this position will have relevant working knowledge of Honeywell, Interlogix, Qolsys systems. Strong knowledge of security alarm products, access control and CCTV concepts and products is also preferred. Fire alarm working knowledge of

NFPA 72, NFPA

70, and backflow systems with a minimum of 2 years experience. Strong knowledge of fire alarm products and functionality. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to: Installing, servicing, testing, programming and troubleshooting security alarm systems and fire alarm systems Conduct testing of security system communication. Conduct testing and inspections of fire alarm systems. Able to read fire design drawings. Make recommendations for both system installation and services. Troubleshoot and complete repairs with minimal supervision. Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices. Maintain records by documenting installation, service, and testing. Interacting with clients in the field to ensure the work is being completed properly and timely. Able to work unsupervised and highly self-motivated and detail oriented.
