Fire Alarm Service Technician

Great opportunity as a Service Technician with a 20+ year company.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose problems to ensure quality performance of systems (Install experience required) Communicate constantly with the Service Manager and Coordinator on delays, requirements and general status as well as maintain proper onsite paperwork and keeping accurate service tickets Programming, troubleshooting and commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and specifications operational/product manuals. Establish and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, quality of service, and long-term relations with FASS. Respond to emergency after hour service calls as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 3+ years of Commercial Fire Installation/Service experience.

FASA/BASA 14

hour required will provide 6 hour renewal if required Factory Certifications a plus Strong knowledge of electronics and associated circuitry and troubleshooting. Experience and knowledge in Gamewell/FCI, FireLite, Silent Knight, EST, Notifier, AES Radio is preferred Demonstrate and uphold all of FASS's core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS A PLUS

Assembles, Programs, Install, Repairs and Inspects Fire and Security systems. Extensive knowledge and qualified programmer on Gamewell FCI E3, Siemens, and Edwards Systems. Strong ability to adhere to codes, regulations, and standards on commercial projects. Proven ability to work well with others and to supervise employees. Thorough working knowledge of various types of cable & termination hardware as well as termination and testing procedures used on a day to day basis.
