Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician and become a vital part of ensuring safety and compliance across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to meet all safety standards and codes. Your expertise will help protect lives and property while advancing your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, schematics, and NFPA codes & standards. Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with local regulations. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, calipers, and tube bending tools to assemble piping systems accurately. Read and interpret technical schematics, construction drawings, and system layouts for precise installation and maintenance. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and maintenance logs. Follow safety protocols at all times on construction sites or manufacturing facilities; adhere to OSHA regulations and company policies. Skills Solid experience in fire sprinkler fitting Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, soldering, and system schematics reading. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, NFPA codes & standards for system installation and repair projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as pipe cutters, wrenches; power tools including drills and grinders; rigging equipment for heavy lifting. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizes or flow rates; familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting systems. Experience with maintenance tasks on wet, dry, pre-action fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, fire hydrants and backflow prevention systems; working knowledge of manufacturing or construction environments is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities combined with excellent attention to detail; capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings. $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
