Firestopping Technician / Firestop Installer Miami, FL A&Y GPR Services Corp is seeking an experienced Firestopping Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing firestop systems on commercial construction projects and be committed to quality workmanship and safety standards. Job Type Full-time Long-term employment Pay $22.00 - $26.00 per hour (Based on experience, qualifications, and tools) Job Responsibilities Install fire-rated penetration and joint seal systems in commercial buildings. Apply fire-rated sealants, sleeves, collars, wraps, and caulking systems. Follow UL-listed firestop assemblies and manufacturer specifications. Ensure all work meets applicable fire and building code requirements. Read and interpret basic construction drawings and project specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams. QualificationsRequired Minimum 1-2 years of experience in firestopping. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation. Own vehicle. Authorized to work in the United States. Professional references. Preferred Knowledge of UL firestop systems. Experience with penetration seals, joint systems, curtain wall firestopping, and insulation materials. OSHA 10 Certification. Ability to read construction drawings. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
