  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Low Voltage Technician (Entry Level) to join our dynamic team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in low voltage systems, including security, surveillance, fire alarms, and telecommunication networks. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various low voltage systems across commercial and residential settings. This position is perfect for individuals eager to grow their technical expertise in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the safety and security of our clients' properties. Paid training is provided to ensure your success from day one. Duties Assist with the installation of low voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, sensors, and security systems using schematics and technical drawings Support the setup and configuration of computer networking and telecommunication infrastructure, including cabling and remote access software Use hand tools and power tools safely to run cabling, install sensors, alarm systems, and other hardware components Conduct routine inspections of surveillance cameras, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and fire alarm devices to ensure proper operation Help troubleshoot electrical issues related to low voltage wiring, system design flaws, or hardware malfunctions Maintain detailed documentation of work performed using schematics and system diagrams for future reference Collaborate with senior technicians on system testing, remote access setup, and system upgrades to enhance security measures Experience Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking concepts, and telecommunication systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided Prior experience as a service technician or in a construction environment involving cabling or electrical work is advantageous Familiarity with schematics, system design principles, or security system installation is a plus Mechanical knowledge related to lock smithing or power tools operation is beneficial Strong interest in learning about low voltage systems such as CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, sensors, and fire alarms Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely with hand tools and power tools in various environments Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding client needs Join us as we build safer spaces through cutting-edge low voltage solutions!
