Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Sr. Fire Alarm and Burglar Technician, where you will play a vital role in servicing, installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire alarm and burglar systems across diverse commercial and industrial environments. This energetic position offers the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and mechanical knowledge to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance. You will be a key player in delivering reliable fire detection solutions, enhancing safety protocols, and supporting our mission to protect lives and property through innovative fire alarm technology. Duties Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to accurately install and troubleshoot fire alarm systems. Perform construction inspections to ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), local codes, and safety standards during system installation. Install, test, and service fire alarm panels, sensors, detectors, and low voltage wiring using hand tools and power tools. Conduct field service visits for maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades on existing fire alarm infrastructure. Collaborate with customers for design expectations. Provide expert guidance on system design modifications and assist in alarm system sales by demonstrating technical solutions to clients. Preferences Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to fire alarm systems. Understanding of programming and setup for NAPCO, Bosch, Silent Knight systems. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. Knowledge of low voltage wiring, sensors, alarms, and electrical systems compliant with NEC standards. Experience with construction inspection processes ensuring adherence to safety regulations and project specifications. Excellent field service skills with a focus on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems. Join us in delivering life-saving solutions! $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
