In this energetic role, you will assist with the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems across various construction sites and commercial buildings. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop technical skills, gain hands-on experience with low voltage electrical systems, and contribute to safeguarding lives and property. No prior experience is necessary—just a passion for learning, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive attitude! You'll work alongside experienced technicians who will mentor you every step of the way, ensuring you build a solid foundation in fire alarm system installation and service. Duties Assist in reading blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to understand project requirements Support the installation of fire alarm systems using hand tools and power tools in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Help set up sensors, detectors, control panels, and other system components following detailed schematics and CAD drawings Participate in low voltage wiring tasks under supervision Aid in testing fire alarm systems for proper operation, including sensor calibration and circuit continuity checks Support field service activities by troubleshooting issues, replacing faulty components, and documenting work performed Experience No previous experience required; we provide comprehensive training on all aspects of fire alarm installation and system design Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools and power tools is preferred but not mandatory Exposure to construction environments or service technician roles is a plus Strong interest in electrical systems, schematics reading, and low voltage wiring techniques Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work safely in active construction sites or commercial settings Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors Join us to build a rewarding career where your technical skills grow daily!
