Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Security Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in access control systems, intrusion alarms, and video management systems, with a solid understanding of relay logic and basic IP networking. This role requires strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Excellent customer relations skills and a clean driving record are essential. Comfort with working on ladders and aerial/scissor lift platforms is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain access control systems, intrusion alarms, and video management systems. Perform software installation and programming for security systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security systems, relay logic, and basic IP networking. Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relations. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations with strong attention to detail. Maintain accurate records of installations, service requests, and repairs. Operate and work safely on ladders and aerial/scissor lift platforms. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. System Certifications are a plus
Qualifications:
Proficient in access control systems, intrusion alarms, and video management systems. Solid understanding of relay logic and basic IP networking. Proficient in computer skills, including software installation and programming. Ability to work independently while troubleshooting and solving problems effectively. Excellent customer relations and communication skills. Clean driving record. Comfortable working on ladders and aerial/scissor lift platforms. System certifications are a plus. Low voltage license preferred but not required.
