We are a 90 year established Employee Owned industrial company, looking for a hard-working, dependable individual. We will provide complete on-the-job training. Work is conducted in our store/shop facility, at the customer's business, or in our mobile unit. Our service area includes Macon and the surrounding area within a 60 mile radius. All travel takes place in a company vehicle, and your schedule is prepared in advance.

Typical work hours:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Job Summary:

The primary role as a technician is to install, inspect, repair and maintain portable fire extinguishers in accordance with the applicable codes and regulations. Starting Salary $15.00/hour plus Bonuses, with increases available after training & certifications

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED,
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• Own transportation to work.
• Due to commercial automobile insurance policy, will need to be 21 years old before eligible to drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in busy environment, attention to detail and a positive attitude. Complete and process all necessary paperwork and tasks in an efficient and timely fashion. Provide and maintain superior customer service and loyalty of current customers. Follow safety rules and good driving habits. Be responsible for the management and security of work vehicle stock, tools and equipment. Approach all training positively and complete all duties in a workman like manner. Be adaptable to changing circumstances and contribute feedback and ideas to help the business grow. Need to be punctual for work and customer appointments and keep a clean and professional appearance. Requires working in all types of weather and elements, working outside during cold and hot seasons. Must be capable of passing the State permit test for Fire Extinguisher Technician after 90 day probation period.
