The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in fire alarm system design, preferably with a focus on mission-critical facilities. If you have experience with Notifier, VESDA, and Revit/BIM, and hold a NICET II or higher, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Design fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards. Develop and create accurate design plans using Revit or Autodesk, including 3D diagrams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements. Maintain high attention to detail throughout the design process. Communicate design concepts effectively to clients, team members, and stakeholders. Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements in fire alarm design.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of Fire Alarm System Design experience. Proficiency in Revit or Autodesk for design and documentation (2 years of Revit experience required). NICET Level II certification required (Level III is a plus). Experience in mission-critical facilities preferred. Knowledge of aspirating smoke detection (VESDA) and clean agent fire suppression systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts. Ability to commute or relocate to Tempe, AZ (relocation assistance available).
Benefits:
$65k - $105k, dependent on experience. Medical Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, etc.) 9 days in total of planned company paid days off due to the Holidays which is based upon the date of hire.
PTO accrued quarterly:
at years 1 through 4 you'll earn three weeks of
PTO / 15
