Job Description

Job Summary Candidate must be certified and
LICENSED
in Georgia to inspect and service fire sprinkler systems. Company is starting a new department that will do sprinkler inspections, minor repairs, and small additions to sprinkler systems. Company will want to work off or your license so you must be licensed for sprinkler systems. This is a great opportunity if you are wanting to get into management and be in on the start of a new branch that could grow with your responsibilities and performance. Responsibilities Install small fire sprinkler systems following blueprints, schematics, and construction plans with precision and adherence to NFPA standards. Conduct inspections of sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality, including testing valves, alarms, and flow switches. Maintain detailed records of system installations, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in compliance with safety regulations. Adhere to all safety protocols related to construction site work, power tool operation, rigging procedures, and welding practices. Qualifications Valid license as a fire sprinkler technician or equivalent certification demonstrating expertise in fire suppression systems. Proven experience in pipe installation, sprinkler fitting, welding (MIG, FCAW, TIG), soldering, and plumbing within construction or manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools such as calipers and pipe threaders as well as power tools safely on job sites. Familiarity with NFPA standards related to fire sprinkler systems and ASME codes & standards for pipeline fabrication. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and system specifications. Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities with a focus on safety regulations and hazard awareness. Knowledge of HVAC systems or pipeline assembly is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
