Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Security System Installation Trainer to lead the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs for security system installation technicians. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and teaching skills to ensure that trainees acquire the necessary skills to install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced security systems. Your energetic approach will inspire learners, foster hands-on learning, and promote safety standards across various industries. Duties Design and develop engaging training curricula focused on security system installation, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures Conduct classroom-based instruction and hands-on training sessions for new hires and existing technicians Demonstrate proper use of tools and equipment related to security system installation, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Blackboard systems Assess trainee progress through practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance skill development Ensure all training activities comply with OSHA safety standards and industry best practices Update training materials regularly to incorporate new technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with management to identify skill gaps and tailor training programs accordingly Requirements Proven experience in security system installation, maintenance, or related technical fields such as automotive diagnostics, HVAC/R, electrical work, or manufacturing Strong teaching or adult education experience with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Blackboard learning management systems, and curriculum development techniques Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices in construction, aircraft maintenance, plumbing, welding, or mechanical work Mechanical knowledge across various industries including automotive repair, HVAC systems (including air conditioning), plumbing, or maintenance operations Classroom experience delivering technical training in environments such as manufacturing or construction sites Technical proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting across multiple disciplines Ability to develop engaging instructional content tailored for adult learners with diverse backgrounds Join us as a Security System Installation Trainer to empower aspiring professionals with vital skills that ensure safe and efficient security solutions.
