Job Description
A well established company is seeking a Fire Protection Designer to support fire sprinkler projects throughout Indiana and the Midwest. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Sales teams to develop sprinkler system designs, hydraulic calculations, BIM models, permit drawings, and installation documentation. Responsibilities Design fire sprinkler systems using HydraTech, AutoCAD, and Revit Create installation and permit drawings Perform hydraulic calculations Conduct field surveys and site visits Participate in BIM coordination meetings Review specifications and project requirements Prepare stock lists and fabrication documentation Coordinate with project teams and AHJs Maintain project schedules and design milestones Ensure compliance with NFPA and applicable codes Requirements 3+ years of Fire Protection Design experience Experience designing fire sprinkler systems NICET Certification preferred/required Experience with AutoCAD and Revit Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standards Strong communication and organizational skills Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field prefered If confidentially looking please email me with resume at brittany.nichols@gogpac.com
