Service & Installation Technician (Security & Life Safety Systems)

We're hiring an experienced Service & Installation Technician to support the installation, service, and troubleshooting of security and life safety systems at commercial customer sites. This is a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity for technicians who enjoy hands‑on field work and want long‑term growth with a stable organization. What You'll Do Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems, fire alarms, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems Perform system diagnostics and repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance Support networking components related to integrated security and life safety systems Work independently or alongside a team on active job sites Follow safety standards and project requirements while delivering quality workmanship Use ladders and lifts as required for installations and service work What We're Looking For Hands‑on experience with: Access Control Fire Alarm Systems CCTV Burglar / Intrusion Alarms Basic Networking Strong troubleshooting and customer‑facing communication skills Ability to work in the field and manage multiple service tasks efficiently Comfortable working from ladders (up to 12 ft A‑frame ; 22 ft ladder may be used when needed) Safety‑minded with the ability to work at heights and around active job sites Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications Lift certification or ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to complete) Experience servicing integrated or networked security systems Why This Opportunity Clear path from contract to full‑time employment Consistent field work with a variety of systems and environments Opportunity to grow skills across installation, service, and troubleshooting Work with modern security and life safety technology If you're an intermediate‑level technician looking for hands‑on work, skill growth, and long‑term stability, this role offers a strong next step.
