Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Position Responsibilities:
Develops, administers and provides fire protection services for the safe guarding people, the environment, and property consistent with company or government requirements. Responds to calls for fire protection, conducts service checks for fire protection equipment. Plans and provides inspections for fire protection systems, fire extinguishers, building inspections, and related inspections. Responds to calls for emergencies to include, hazardous materials incident, technical rescue, confined space rescue, fire incidents, emergency medical emergencies, perform incident command roles. Conduct inspection and testing of fire protection equipment, valves hydrants and fire suppression equipment. Permitting issuance for hot work, confined space and excavation task for company and contract personnel. Ensures compliance with written policies and procedures in all phases of the company operations. Interfaces with government agencies, local and state level fire agencies. Conduct fire inspections for company offices, building projects, complete fire inspection report. Complete building preplans for fire and emergency response, complete reports for preplanning. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Kansas Certified EMT, AEMT or Paramedi c Firefighter 1 or equivalen t 1+ years of progressive fire service or EMS experienc e Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship ) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): HAZMAT technician or operation s
