Louisiana , Lafayette Job Description We are partnered with a well-established and respected fire protection and life safety company who is urgently seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Technician with programming experience or background to join their growing team. This organization values employee growth, long-term stability, and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician preferred NICET Level I-III in Fire Alarm Systems preferred Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72 and local fire codes Experience installing, testing, inspecting, and servicing fire alarm systems Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
Responsibilities:
Install, program, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems Troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs Ensure systems comply with NFPA standards and AHJ requirements Accurately document inspections, deficiencies, and repairs Communicate with customers, inspectors, and project teams Support commissioning and acceptance testing when required Take the next step in your career - NOW!
