Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fire Pump Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire pump systems and related fire protection equipment. Your expertise will ensure that fire pump systems operate reliably and efficiently, providing critical safety functions for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge fire protection technology while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Your mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and ability to interpret schematics and blueprints will be essential to your success in this role. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair fire pump systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire pumps, sensors, alarms, and control panels to ensure optimal operation Perform construction inspections to verify compliance with safety codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks efficiently Collaborate with construction teams during system installations and modifications to ensure proper integration of low voltage electrical components and sensors Maintain detailed service records, inspection logs, and reports for all work performed Assist in sales activities related to fire alarm systems or fire sprinkler fitting when required Experience Proven field service experience as a fire protection or service technician specializing in fire pump systems or Sprinkle Systems (Start ups plus Service) Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for installation and repairs Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, system design documentation, CAD software, and construction inspection procedures Knowledge of fire alarm systems, sensors, low voltage wiring, electrical systems including NEC standards Experience in construction environments involving fire sprinkler fitting or fire alarm sales is a plus Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Prior experience working with sensors, electrical components, and alarm systems in a service technician capacity Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to safeguarding lives through reliable fire protection solutions. Pay:
$23.00 - $55.00 per hour
