  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. This role requires a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, electrical components, and mechanical knowledge to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues. Duties Install, inspect, and maintain fire and burglar alarm systems including electronic locks, alarms, CCTV, and more, in compliance with local codes and regulations. Conduct routine testing of alarm systems to ensure functionality and reliability. Diagnose and repair faults in alarm systems using appropriate tools and techniques. Collaborate with clients to provide recommendations for upgrades or enhancements to their existing systems. Stay updated on industry standards, including
NFPA72, NEC
(National Electrical Code), to ensure compliance during installations. Attend weekly team meetings. Maintain appropriate equipment and restock vehicle and supplies as needed. Maintain thorough and accurate logs of work completed at all times. Communicate and coordinate with co-workers, builders, and office staff as necessary to achieve daily workload goals. Skills A low-voltage electrical license with industry experience Experience with DMP products is a plus Knowledge of NFPA72, NEC, and Industry standards for fire alarm installation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Outstanding attention to detail Strong communication and listening skills Ability to supervise other entry-level technicians Excellent work ethic If you are passionate about safety technology and have the skills necessary for this role, we encourage you to apply for the position of Alarm Technician today!
